With over 15 years of experience in data science, Pavel started at MegaFon building predictive machine learning models based on consumers' data, later growing into a senior machine learning developer at Yandex where he applied deep learning to fraud detection. Most recently, he's been using his data engineering expertise to contribute to one of the world’s most widely used mapping platforms.

Pavel’s formal background in mathematics adds to his multiple years of experience and broad expertise across the full Python ML stack, notably PyTorch. He tackles big data challenges using diverse platforms like Apache Spark and works extensively with modern LLMs, including large-scale and distributed training.
